Fans of Ligue 1 have some good news as Canal+ and DAZN come to an agreement to provide full access to Ligue 1 matches for subscribers. After securing an extension with BeIN Sports, Canal+ has finalized negotiations with DAZN, the sports streaming giant. The details are as follows:
– Starting August 16, Canal+ will offer DAZN services, allowing subscribers to watch all Ligue 1 McDonald’s matches.
– This includes 8 matches per matchday, access to the Trophée des Champions, and playoff matches.
– DAZN will feature live broadcast options and up to 4 supplementary channels.
– DAZN will be available a la carte on MyCanal, without a sports package due to perceived high costs (around €70).
– DAZN’s Ligue 1 offering will cost €29.99 monthly for full access.
While Canal+ will provide access to all Ligue 1 matches, it will not include a multiplex broadcast for certain Sunday games, opting instead for individual match coverage, which could lead to higher overall subscription costs for fans.
