Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov shared a video of himself driving a Tesla Cybertruck equipped with a gun on its back. He expressed gratitude to Elon Musk, calling him a “strong genius” and inviting him to visit Russia. Kadyrov, an ally of President Putin, has ruled Chechnya for 17 years and claimed to have sent thousands of troops to support the war in Ukraine. He stated that the gun-mounted Cybertruck would be sent to the front lines of the conflict, emphasizing its suitability for military use. Tesla’s Cybertruck, an electric vehicle first introduced in 2019, began production last year. Musk, ranked as the world’s richest person, owns both Tesla and SpaceX and has become a controversial figure after acquiring Twitter and rebranding it to X. Musk has also publicly supported former President Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.
